Pick the car you want to use to do the color change, this is the one I picked:

Now take your Magic Wand Tool and this is where you start selecting the body.

Hold down the Shift key while pressing in all the spots of the car you want selected. If you click and it goes out the lines or not where you want it to, just do Ctrl+Z and then start going again. I'll show you what I mean right here...

This is what it will look like as your going along. If you find you click and its only selecting little parts of the car, or you click and it selects almost the whole picture, Lower or Raise "Tolerance" at the top. The lower the Number, the more diverse it is in selecting, which means it will recognize every little different shade of color. If you put the # high, it will select around the majority of the same shade of color. I find a Tolerance of 20-50 works great. If the color of your car is a lot like the color of your backround, you can even just cut out the car using the Polygone Tool and then Ctrl+C (copy) and Ctrl+V it in a brand new window like this:

It helps a lot too!

After being fully satisfied with selecting the whole car, Ctrl+C then Ctrl+V the layer, then Desaturate (ctrl+shift+U)
You should have it looking like this:

now with that layer still selected, Goto the Color Balance (Ctrl+B)

from there you can move all slider bars within the Midtones, Shadows, and Highlights untill you get your desired look. You Can also use the Saturation effect for this as well.

Remember to fill in any mis-spots, fix all touch ups, and smooth edges to get that color change perfect! After some fixing up and tweaking, here's what I got. Didn't spend the most time on it but keep working at it.

There your car could have a new paintjob
